I think that there should be a lot more discussion about free speech on the Internet and the expectation (or not) of privacy.
Many in the U.S. soundly decried that actions of China for this type of control. Should it be different if we are the one limiting the access or anonymity?

Mounting Evidence of Health Risks From PVC Leads EverydayPlastics.com to Offer Plastic Products That Are Safe For All Users. Offering Both Pvc-Free and Phthalate-Free Plastic Sleeves, Pouches, and Pockets in an Effort to Help Promote Safer Work Materials, the Website Seeks to Raise Awareness of Alternatives to PVC.
Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) December 2, 2010
There is mounting evidence that there are significant health risks associated with the lifecycle of PVC products and EverydayPlastics.com is seeking to provide safer products for their customers. “There has been much discussion about ‘green’ plastics and bio-plastics, but there is not a reliable supply chain for a reliable product that has the high presentation quality of PVC,” says Conway.
After learning about the health risks of PVC throughout it’s life cycle from groups such as besafenet.com/pvc/ and pvcfree.org among others, Conway led his group in researching the risks to his employees and customers. In discussions with vendors, Conway pushed for products that provide the presentation quality of vinyl but with lower health risks and a reasonable price point.
When asked why the website still offers vinyl products, Conway replied, “there are many safe applications for PVC, but we are seeking to provide information so that our customers can make an informed decision about what is best for them”. In addition, the company is working to release another website that will focus solely on pvc-free and phthalate-free products, including household goods and toys.
Conway hopes that the increasing sales from the Pvc-Free Plastic Sleeves will motivate manufacturers to re-tool and produce more of these safer products. As more of these products are made available, the pricing will come down and the awareness of the options should increase as well.
EverydayPlastics.com is an online retailer who sells smaller quantities of products that are generally only available in box quantities from manufacturers. By providing the products from a number of manufacturers, http://www.everydayplastics.com/ has the items that are hard to find anywhere else. The website is available through the holidays, but with reduced hours during the last two weeks of December.

DIY – Eco Light Table Project
Ok gang, first the finished product….
No, I am not trying to be a photobug for this, just documenting.
So, we have a lot going on here. How did we get here?
First, I zip-tied two wire grids together. (purchased from a closing World Market, aka recycling)
Second, I used a bin from the move and the cross-country road trip.

Next, I mark and cut the roasting pan that will serve as the base for the clip lights.

Then, I ready the clip lights. I decide to mount this way to limit the heat sensitive materials in this construction. The less that can melt (easily) the better and safer.

So, we now have the lights mounted.

We place the pan, the lights and the wiring in the bin. Note that I am using wing nuts. I can dismantle this pretty easily if needed.

Now, we test the dimmers. Everything checks out nicely! Whew.

Now, we can place the plexi and start playing. Notice that I never put cooler bulbs in for the heat test and warped the plexi. This is why we test simple steps so that the harm is limited. ![]()

Ready (after new plexi, this was scrap anyway) for the new lights. I am going to use CFL bulbs to limit the heat and significantly reduce the power consumption WHILE getting 5,000 K (daylight) light with bulbs that draw 16 Watts and can be used with a dimmer. ![]()

So, why the DIY and not buy?
Mostly, I thought that I could use the dimmers to control my lighting better. I am below novice with a camera and have to produce a process for shooting thousands of products. So, the more easily I can standardize and de-artize the process, the better for this goal. I am converting my business, EverydayPlastics.com to a carbon negative company and demanding safer raw materials, so I want to be consistent in my approach to nature and life itself.
Another reason is that I already had most of the items and had no other use for them. I wanted to avoid wasting what I have, buying something new to throw away later, and recycle as much as I can while relying on more energy efficient bulbs.
I also want to save up for the right flash pair, so frugal now meets my needs most likely and allows me to get the right equipment later should I decide to wax artistic.
I hope that someone finds this useful for their own project(s).
Happy Recycling!

I just wanted to follow up on this.
We don’t understand the risks and there have not been long-term studies done!
Los Alamos suggesting that the DNA would be impacted at all is cause for alarm itself!
We don’t know how the production of proteins as the mRNA is made from the ‘shaken’ DNA will be impacted. We don’t know if the body will catch any mistakes in the proteins created from the mRNA.
Remember, the CDC doesn’t fully understand the BSE or mad cow disease which is apparently the consequence of a malformed or poorly functioning protein.
http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dvrd/bse/
If the CDC doesn’t understand the mechanics of how a protein-like agent can be created or occur in nature, how can anyone conclude that the beaming of this radiation (which is what photons are) will not impact protein production in the subject?
Photons are at the quantum mechanics level of intricate and are not fully observable. So, how can the consequences of this acceleration of energy into the subject be confirmed as having NO effect?
We are shooting energy into the travelers without confirming that it is safe with quantifiable results showing that after a number of exposures that there were NO changes in physiology.
More fear and more fear for less individual control with less concern about the individual in the name of the State. That does NOT sound like Democracy!
I am not calling it anything else but wrong and short-sighted.
